| Link to schools worldwide |

`School linking enables children to jointly build a better and tolerant world because they will have learnt to listen and understand one another¿ Archbishop Desmond Tutu |

A school link can have a really positive effect on your students' education, particularly in our increasingly connected world. Why not link with a Plan school in our Southern network? How does it work? The school linking programme connects UK schools with schools from Malawi, Kenya and Sierra Leone. Your school will be linked to an overseas school where your students will have the opportunity to exchange letters and emails with students from your linked school. Both schools will be given lesson activities and resources which will enable students to gain a good understanding about each others' countries. Teachers will be given INSET twice a year on how to get the best out of the link as well as access to a telephone helpline. Why Plan?Plan has been working in communities around the world for 70 years and is working with 64,000 communities. We have experience of working with children around the world and there are already 65 schools from Malawi, Kenya and Sierra Leone who are ready and keen to link. Benefits
"I find it impossible to think of a school that is fit for the twenty-first century without having this vivid, practical link between the North and South". Professor Tim Brighouse - London Schools Commissioner What your school will receiveCommunication
