What was your reaction when you heard you had won a category?
"I was amazed and wondered how someone like me from a remote village could win such an award. However, I now believe in the saying that ‘You can achieve big things by doing little things’".
Peter Gilberi, aged 16 from Ghana, winner of the 11-16 category: ‘Who do you look up to?’

“Shoot Nations has created an opportunity for young people around the world to visually present the issues that concern them. Sometimes that vision can be stark or haunting, joyful and funny but nothing is trivial or taken for granted. The extraordinary variety and the quality of the images submitted reflects their determination to be seen and heard.”
