As part of International Youth Day 2007, student representatives from the UK, Dominican Republic, El Salvador and the USA spoke about the need to listen to youth voice and gave examples of how children across the world are effectively involved in development processes.
A light-box art installation of 48 selected photographs was presented to the UN on Friday 10th August to celebrate International Youth Day – it now has a permanent location in the Youth Department of Economic and Social Affairs. The lightbox was received by department director Johan Scholvinck.
