| Speak out for Africa |
| Welcome to Plan UK’s new Key Stage 2 resource for 8-11 year olds which introduces the continent of Africa and encourages pupils to think about how their voice could facilitate change there. |
|
The work develops the concept of youth advocacy and young people taking control of the decisions that affect their lives. The resource looks at the ‘hot seat’ as a method of asking questions and gathering information. The final lesson looks at the use of dance in African celebrations as a tool for communication.
