Bounce On a bouncy castle or trampoline – how many can you manage?	Dance Or be more specific – limbo dance, line dance, hoe down, silly dance…
Language challenge See if you can learn to say “hello” in ten different languages, or make it a bit trickier and come up with a whole sentence to learn	Playground tidy Get sponsored for each piece of litter you manage to collect, or the length of time you manage to keep going for
Marathon event From swimming to squash, running to reading, badminton to bridge, hula-hoop to hopscotch, make it a daylong event in shift teams	Sacrifice Give up something you love (chocolate? soap operas? XBox?) for a day or a week. Teachers have to join in too!
Silence Also known as “the teacher’s favourite”	Spell Another one to please the teacher – fun AND educational!
Teacher’s challenge Sponsor your teacher to shave off his beard or cut her hair – maybe only if a certain amount is raised, as an extra incentive	Three-legged day Shin pads, elbow protectors and a sense of humour recommended
