Campaigns information

Welcome to the campaign pages – you will find everything you need to grasp what campaigning is all about, how it works, and what it can achieve.

Campaigning is used to bring about change. This can be on a local, national or global scale.

Famous campaigns you may have heard of include: the suffragette movement which gave British women the vote, the Anti-Apartheid campaign which stopped racial segregation in South Africa and Martin Luther-King’s American civil rights movement.

While these campaigns changed the way whole countries worked, most campaigns happen on a much smaller scale within schools, communities and towns. No matter what your age or background you have the potential to change things for the better. In this page, we’ve collected together some information that we hope budding campaigners will find useful and interesting. Have a read and then go for it. Remember, you can make a difference.
