UN PRESENTATION Friday 10th August UN headquarters in New York City. Shoot Nations presented the world’s highest level of government with a light-box of 48 selected photographs on Friday 10th August to celebrate International Youth Day.

Shoot Nations participants from three continents accompanied Hamish Mackenzie (Schools Development and Marketing Officer, Plan UK) and Brett Jefferson Stott (Director, Shoot Experience) to the UN Headquarters to present the light-box and talk about youth participating in development.

LONDON WORKSHOP AND EXHIBITION Saturday 15th September - 22nd September Tate Modern & Southwark Cathedral The workshop was open to young people from 11 – 24. Participants worked in teams on a mini ‘Shoot Experience’ photographic event in the morning – getting out onto the streets with their cameras and depicting governance related questions through photography. The afternoon was spent looking at all the photographs and discussing how they could actively change the things in their lives that frustrate them. Winning photos were printed and displayed at the evening exhibition at Southwark Cathedral Refectory.
