Students will develop a good understanding about Fair Trade, why it is used and what they can do to be part of the Fair Trade movement. Students will look at policy documents and begin to formulate their own policies which could be used to inform wider school policy.
They will research the issues and develop these ideas into reports, posters and policy documents and look at ways they can disseminate information to relevant parties.
The materials are developed through a scheme of work for key stage 3, consisting of 4 lessons with accompanying resources. The lessons are all clearly mapped to national curriculum attainment targets.
