1. Competition entrants must be aged 12-17 years and currently studying at an educational institution in the UK.
2. Only one entry is allowed per person. Third party entries will not be accepted.
3. The prize must be accepted as stated and there is no cash alternative.
4. Prize winners will be required to participate in competition publicity activities organised by EducationGuardian.co.uk, Plan UK, National Museums Liverpool and prize sponsors or agents.
5. Proof of postage is not proof of receipt. Entries must be received by post or email by the competition's closing date, 8th May 2007.
6. EducationGuardian.co.uk and Plan UK cannot be held responsible for lost or misplaced competition entries. Entries are non-returnable.
7. The competition is open to UK residents only.
8. If the competition winner is under 16-years of age, a parent or a legal guardian must accompany the winner on the trips to Liverpool and Senegal.
9. The winner and any accompanying adult must hold valid passports.
10. Competition winners will be notified within a month of the competition's closing date and will be required to accept the prize within one week of notification.
11. In the event of non-acceptance of the first prize EducationGuardian.co.uk, Plan UK and National Museums Liverpool will select a new winner.
